## Oceanir

> Privacy-first image geolocation platform. Oceanir analyzes the visible scene in an image (architecture, road markings, signage, vegetation, terrain, climate cues) to estimate where it may have been taken, and returns a full evidence trail rather than a single pin.

Oceanir uses depth-tiered analysis. D1 is a free surface scan that runs in seconds. D2 (3 credits) returns a verified location with reasoning. D3 (10 credits, Pro plan and above) returns the full forensic bundle: ranked candidates, visual anchors, contradictions, chronolocation cues, and multi-pass zoom on the regions that drove the conclusion. Analysis works on photos that have been screenshotted, cropped, or stripped of metadata by social platforms.

## How it works

1. Upload an image or selected video frame
2. Oceanir analyzes visual cues: roads, signs, architecture, terrain, vegetation
3. Ranked location candidates are returned with confidence scores and map evidence
4. Optional: generate a review report with visual cues and notes
5. No GPS coordinates or EXIF metadata are read or required at any step

- Works on images stripped of metadata, screenshotted from social media, or taken from video frames
- Global coverage with highest fidelity in North America, Western Europe, East Asia, and Australia
- Public benchmark results are not currently published. Internal benchmark numbers will be published once they have been independently verified.

Free: starter credits, no credit card required.
Pro: 70 credits/month, Depth Levels 1–3, higher rate limits, priority queue.
Developer: 500 credits/month. Full REST API, 1,000 req/hour.
Unit: 1,500 pooled credits/month. 3 seats included. Shared workspace.
Extra credits: $0.80 per credit on any paid plan.

- Oceanir does not provide face recognition, biometric identification, person matching, identity resolution, people-search, behavioral profiling, or tools designed to locate or track private individuals.
- Oceanir results are confidence-ranked evidence records for human review, not automatic determinations.
